Wellbeing Walks is a developing programme of short, friendly group walks that can help you become and stay active.
The walks are led by trained volunteers. The walks will be at a pace that is right for the whole group, and are a relaxed, social and friendly space for the members: whether you’re looking to add more movement into your routine, would like to meet new people or get some fresh air to enjoy nature.
Join a walk
Wormley Wellbeing Walks: Every Tuesday and Thursday from Wormley Community Centre, EN10 6DX and go through the Lee Valley Country Park. Meet time is at 9.20am and is approx. 1.3 mile flat walk (40 minutes). For a place on the walk, please call Walk Leader for more details, Breda 07508 354998.
Hoddesdon Wellbeing Walks: Every Tuesday, meet at the Bandstand on Hoddesdon High Street at 9.30am. This walk takes you for a 45 minutes to walk around the town and Barclay Park.

Cheshunt Wellbeing Walks: Every Wednesday, meet at Pindar Car Park, Windmill Lane, Cheshunt, EN8 9AJ. This circular walk takes you 45 minutes around Lee Valley. Hoddesdon Wellbeing Walks: Every Wednesday, meet outside the main gates at Peace Cottage, Hoddesdon, EN11 8NE. This circular walk takes you 45 minutes around Barclay Park. Volunteer to lead a walk
We rely on volunteers to lead and support walks in their local areas.
Please contact us (email@example.com) if you’re passionate about supporting people to get active and could offer some time. We’ll provide free training and support.
These are free, friendly enjoyable walks and suitable for walkers who are able to walk around four miles. They take place once every fortnight and are led by experienced walk leaders.

Broxbourne Guided Walks
There are over 30 guided walks and events on offer throughout the year to help you discover and enjoy Broxbourne's parks and open spaces.
Who are these walks for?
These walks are aimed at people who would like to discover the beauty of the natural open spaces in Broxbourne and surrounding areas. The walks are suitable for most people as the pace is generally easy, although paths can be uneven, muddy at times and hilly in places.
We do offer family events specifically for children but please remember that children must always be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Dogs on a lead are welcome unless otherwise stated.
What to bring?
Remember to wear stout footwear with good grip. As weather conditions can change during a walk, please bring waterproof clothing or sun protection just in case. Walks usually last for one to two hours; long walks are indicated. You may want to bring a drink and a snack.
