Celebrating Queen Eleanor Of Castile

To celebrate the new square in Waltham Cross, Broxbourne Council is delighted to welcome the:

Queen Eleanor Cycle Ride

In aid of the Friends of The Connection of St Martin - In-The-Field (registred Charity 1040560)

This is a weekend of challenge, fundraising and fun and an opportunity to learn about the history of the Queen Eleanor Crosses.  It is a charity cycle ride raising money to support the work of The Connection of St Martin's who help homeless and vulnerable people in London.   A four day ride taking place over the August Bank holiday, it arrives in Waltham Cross on Monday 26th August.  Click Here for more information about the ride.

After lunch the cyclists will continue down the Lea Valley Navigation tow path to Westminster Abbey for a service by the Eleanor Tomb.
